Interview: Our Head of Product, Seller and Monetization

As a Head of Product for the Real Estate customer unit of OLX Group, Sona Dagesyan is responsible for defining the Seller and Monetisation strategy, driving the company’s growth across four countries and facilitating the digital transformation. Sona is a passionate product professional, who throughout the 15 years of her career in Product Management was curious to identify and solve the future problems of the customers. Starting with the customer first, taking the ownership and being humble at work is her secret recipe in product management. Sona joined OLX Group in October 2021 and started hiring and developed high performing product teams. She is a free citizen in a free world, who was born in Armenia and has lived in Berlin with her husband and 2 daughters for the past 8 years. Sona holds an EMBA degree from ESMT, speaks 4 languages, loves travelling and spends all her free time with her family.

There are many organizations out there that are not empowering their product teams to maximize the impact they can make. Every one of us can play a role in elevating the product industry to the next level.
